We are excited share Zaynab & Hussein's Wedding, our first Arabic wedding. Fairmont San Francisco is one of the best venues to get married at in San Francisco. The ballrooms are beautiful, elegant, grand and glamorous. And once you step outside, the streets offer a quintessential San Francisco urbane scenery to capture couple portraits. And to top it all, the wedding itself was so beautifully designed by Shakor Decor and meticulously coordinated by Jennifer from Fairmont San Francisco.
It was beautiful sunny summer day in the city. We started the day by capturing getting ready sessions for both bride and groom at the hotel. Zaynab looked so beautiful with hair and makeup by Justine. And all the bridemaids were beautifully readied by Christal from www.artistrybychristal.com and Asma .The whole family gave us such a heartwarming welcome when we started shooting the session. Thanks to their incredible hospitality, we enjoyed some delectable snacks while shooting the session. Photo shoots can't be more fun.
Getting ready session led into first look on the Terrace which offers breathtaking views of San Francisco city. The terrace was also the venue for the Muslim Nikah ceremony with beautiful floral decorations again from Shakor Decor. We captured some couple pictures before and after the ceremony totally capitalizing on the beautiful surroundings of this property. Both Zaynab and Hussein were excited about the idea of street shots wherein we captured the feel and vibe of the city. While shooting these images in the middle of the California street we were greeted by honking, a symbolic congratulatory gesture from the passing by drivers.
The reception was in the dazzling Gold Room which glitters with French provincial detailing with ornate gold leaf bas-refliefs on the walls. The room has crystal chandeliers, gorgeous wall sconces and gilded ceilings. The golden purple color theme for the reception totally gelled with the name of this ballroom. Shakor Decor provided the beautiful design and decor for the hall. The grand entry of the couple was followed by dance on the foot tapping numbers by DJ Ahmed. Though we do not understand Arabic language, the music has no linguistic barriers. We totally enjoyed the melodies while capturing these moments for the family. Zaynab & Hussein have been so thoughtful in planning the details for the wedding. The reception hall had a special station to charge cell phones, another one to grab some flats if the guests did not feel comfortable dancing in the formal shoes. Another station had a guestbook for guests to sign. We love capturing all these details and the events that followed - the first dance, the family pictures, and guests on the dancefloor.
We are totally in love with this wedding gallery. Sharing the same here.
