Chandana + Imran

E Shoot
Chandana & Imran, An E Shoot at a Stud Farm One of the very renowned National Geographic photographer, Jim Richardson, once mentioned, "If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff". And what would be more interesting stuff than these amazing creatures at the stud farm. Layer that with a great couple, and that's any shutterbug's dream come true. Initially we were planning this shoot at San Francisco.Closer to the shoot day we figured out its going to be a very cloudy and potentially colder day at SF. Chandana suggested we shoot it at one of the Stud Farm/Barn closer to her parents house in San Jose and I couldn't be happier. And the images here explain the reason. The owner farmer, a warm nice gentleman, welcomed us on the property and gave us full access to everything. I am planning to go back and share the shoot and a big print with him. Its amazing to see how there are still some barns, stud farms right in the heart of Silicon Valley. Chandana & Imran met and fell for one another at the restaurant  in Nob Hill, San Francisco. They joke that they don't believe in love at first sight but their story is probably the closest to that fairytale-ideal. Both work in the same biotechnology industry which takes them all over the world to the same conferences in cities like Paris, New York, and this year, Stockholm. In addition to that they also share the love for travel and adventure which also drew them to each other.  Last November, Imran proposed to Chandana at the highest point (Twin Peaks look out) in San Francisco as the sun was rising. He brought all of their favorite foods from across the city and prepared a sunrise breakfast picnic. It was incredibly magical and totally Imran. Who else would wake up at the crack of dawn to propose? And that must have been literal "top of the world" feeling for her.  I am really excited and looking to shoot their wedding at scenic Fort Mason in San Francisco right on water. Sharing some images from the E shoot of this sweet couple.  Congratulations Chandana & Imran !
